Samsung releases a vast portfolio of smartphones every year, and it is unknown whether the manufacturer plans to release the Oreo update for its budget and mid-range phones such as the J series, A series, C series, etc. Samsung flagship phones from 2016 such as the Galaxy S7 should be expected to get the Oreo update, on account of past updates.
