This is so cool!!! I'm really honored and flattered that anyone is interested in my trip enough to write an article!! I chose travel by bicycle to make the trip affordable. I also camp when I can and I eat rice and beans a lot too :) Some commenters are correct, 9 years at a job doesn't give me much retirement security. I don't know what I'll do when I get back. But I believe things will work out ok. My apologies to the people of Srebrenica. I didn't intend for that to be mentioned in the article. He asked me if I had any negative experiences and that was one. But it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't worth mentioning and I guess I should have kept it to myself. Aside from feeling a little uncomfortable, most of the people I met in srebrenica were very nice, helpful, fun and easy to get along with, just like everyone else I met in Bosnia.
