Poslije okončanja sukoba i potpisa primirja, reakcije iz Azerbejdžana i Armenije su u potpunosti drugačije. Dok u Armeniji bukte neredi i nezadovoljstvo zbog sporazuma, Azerbejdžanci su izašli na ulice i proslavili, za njihov narod, historijsku pobjedu.

Hiljade građana se okupilo na glavnom trgu u Ganji, drugom po veličini gradu u Azerbejdžanu, te su uz ples i muziku proslavili potpisivanje sporazuma. Mnogi od njih nosili su pored zastava Azerbejdžana i zastave Turske te su poručili kako su te dvije države bratske.
