Nutricionista i trener Luke Hanna tvrdi da se dobijanje nekoliko kilograma svake godine može nakupiti tokom života, a praznični dani često doprinose tom "gomilanju".
Hanna ističe da je prihvatljivo uživanje u prazničnim slasticama, ali je upozorila na opasnost dugotrajnog pretjerivanja.
"Povremeni dan ili nekoliko dana prejedanja ne predstavlja razlog za brigu. Međutim, kada to pređe na sedmice i mjesece, onda postaje problematično", kazao je.

Keeping active where possible, eating nutritious and filling foods around social events, implementing mindfulness techniques and paying attention to feelings of fullness, as well as continuing to take physical measurements, are all tools that can be used. Kako tvrdi, preporuka je da uživate u prazničnim druženjima i slavljima, ali da između tih događaja održavate uravnoteženu ishranu bogatu hranjivim namirnicama.
"Razmišljanje o tome vrijedi li određena namirnica konzumacije mnogo pomaže u boljoj kontroli unosa kalorija", pojasnio je.
Dalje naglašava da je ključno prepoznati trenutak kada dođe do toga da hrana više ne pruža užitak ili korist. Iako je važno biti svjestan unosa kalorija, Hanna naglašava da ne biste trebali osjećati dodatni stres zbog hrane.
"Praznici su vrijeme za uživanje, ali bi mnoge osobe trebale uzeti u obzir ove savjete kako bi izbjegli bespotrebne dodatne kilograme", poručio je Hanna.
